ToggleExpert Tips That I Recommend
- Do not overbeat the eggs, as overmixing can introduce excess air and cause a sunken cheesecake.
- Crush the cookies firmly and mix with melted butter. Make sure you press the crust firmly and evenly, especially around the edges.
- Prepare ganache of a thicker consistency. Refrigerate until it reaches a thick, spreadable consistency.
- Wrap a springform pan with 2-3 layers of heavy-duty foil, making sure there are no gaps.
Recipe Variations For Different Diets
- Gluten-Free: I swap the Oreo cookies for gluten-free sandwich cookies. I also use gluten-free snack cakes instead of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes.
- Keto-Friendly: To make it keto-friendly, I use a mix of almond flour, melted butter, and vanilla extract for the crust. I also use monk fruit sweetener and sugar-free white chocolate for the ganache. For the cake, I use keto-friendly pound cake cubes.

Storing This Recipe
- Refrigeration: I store the Cheesecake in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Freezing: If you want to freeze it, cover it with plastic wrap and transfer it to a freezer-safe container to enjoy for up to 2 months.
What To Serve With This Recipe
You can serve hot chocolate with the Cheesecake. Since it is a Christmas cake, you can also make an Eggnog Latte. You can even make some Coffee Nudge or Sweet Pudding. I really enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Latte with bites of the Cheesecake.
