Method
- Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add the beef and garlic to the pot. Cook until the beef turns brown.
- Add oregano, chili powder, flour, and cumin to the cooked beef.
- Stir well so the beef is evenly coated with all the spices and flour.
- Pour in water or broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally so all the flavors blend together.
- Once the chili reaches your desired thickness, turn off the heat.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips and sour cream.
