To this add some beef seasoned with some salt and pepper. Stir for some time and then add other seasonings like Italian seasoning and chilli flakes.

Cook until the meat becomes brown and crumbly. Add some mushroom, spinach, and garlic to the same skillet and cook for another few minutes. To this add some tomato paste, wine, marinara, and broth and continue the cooking process.

While cooking this recipe, make sure the noodles are submerged in the broth. Once the noodles are cooked and the sauce is thickened up, add dollops of ricotta cheese over it. Slightly mix everything together and season to taste and bring down from the heat.

There is no strict rule that you have to cook meat on Sundays! I think on Sunday dinners; you should try something which isn’t common on other days, like fish! Are you up for this idea? If yes, make sure to get some salmon when you go out!

To make this recipe, you first must ready your cedar grilling plank. Soak the plank in water for an hour or two. Grab some lemon and take ¼ cup of lemon juice from it. From the same lemon, grate some lemon zest. Now combine this lemon zest with some ginger and black pepper and spread this mixture on the salmon.

Now take out the plank from the water. Place the marinated fish on top of it. Make sure that the skin side is down. Add some salt sparingly and grill the fish for 20 minutes, covered. In the meantime, let’s make the sauce.

For this, combine some soy sauce, honey, and sriracha and set them aside in half portions. Add some garlic, lemon juice, and salt to one of them. Pour this mixture into chopped cucumber, corn, and cilantro.

Take the other half of the soy sauce mixture and brush the salmon with this sauce. Once done, serve this with the vegetable mix. The dish looks so extravagant! Yet it is extremely simple to cook.

12. Pasta Carbonara

Pasta Carbonara

If you are someone who loves Italian dishes, then this linguine carbonara must be something you had at least a couple of times at the restaurant. But have you ever given it thought of making it at home? If not, give it now.

You will need 2 eggs, some pecorino romano cheese, guanciale, linguine, salt, and black pepper to make this recipe. Just like all other pasta dishes, start this dish by making the linguine. Cook them until it is al dente. If you plan to cook this dish, make sure to freeze guanciale at least 30 to 45 minutes before cooking.

Take a frying pan and add the sliced guanciale into the cold pan. Move the pan to heat and cook it for some time. While it is getting ready, mix two eggs with some grated pecorino romano cheese. Once the guanciale turns succulent and lets out its fat, turn the heat to low.

By this time, your pasta and guanciale pasta must be ready. Turn up the heat of the guanciale and add some pasta water to it. You can also add the pasta directly to the pan. The water that comes along with the pasta will make the dish more creamier.

Slowly add the egg mix to the recipe. Make sure not to put the pan too long over the gas. Otherwise, the egg will start to curdle up. Once it’s done, add some more pecorino romano cheese and pepper for taste. Mix well and serve hot!

It might look like an elaborate process, but the dish will be done in under an hour once you start making this. If you think it’s hard for you to find guanciale, you can easily substitute it with some pancetta or bacon slices.

I often feel that cauliflower is an underrated vegetable. It is tasty, healthy, and fits into too many recipes. Yet there are very few recipes that focus on cauliflower alone! I was in search of a good cauliflower recipe and tried it!

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, arrange the cauliflower floret over a baking tray. Before baking it, make sure to add all the flavors over it. For this, start by sprinkling some black pepper over it and give it a good toss.

Then drizzle some melted butter over the florets and toss it again. Add some grated pecorino cheese over the top of the baked cauliflower and give it another toss. Once you feel everything is mixed well, it’s time to bake.

Put the seasoned cauliflower in the oven and bake it for 20 to 25 minutes. Make sure that the cauliflower has turned golden brown and crispy before taking it out of the oven. Once it’s done, add some more cheese on top of it and allow it to sit for some more time.

Your cacio e pepe cauliflower is all ready to serve. While reading this recipe, you might have noticed that I haven’t added any salt to this. This is because the pecorino cheese is really salty. Hence if you are adding any other cheese, make sure to adjust the flavor accordingly.

Sunday nights are meant for heavy meals, and I knew that. But some of us love sipping a bowl of tasty, healthy soup before or after it! I love to start my Sunday night dinners with a warm cup of soup, and this soup is something I cook regularly!

Before starting to cook the dish, make sure to get 500 grams of Cannellini beans. Rinse it and drain it completely. Into a frying pan, add some olive oil. Put it on low heat; once the oil is slightly hot, add the beans to it. Cook it until it is brown and crispy.

I can’t blame you if you feel like I’m a little with pesto; that’s true! Pesto makes everything better. So if you love lamb and pesto, this pesto-crusted lamb cutlet is something you could serve for your Sunday dinner nights!

In a bowl, mix together lamb cutlets and pesto together. Toss it well until it is well coated. Take a large pan and place it on medium heat over the stove. Drizzle some oil over it and cook both sides of the lamb cutlets on medium heat. Cook it until both sides are slightly brown.

Transfer this cooked lamb to a baking tray and bake it for 6 minutes or more according to your liking. Cover the tray with foil paper and set it aside to cool down for some time. While it is cooling down, let’s make the pesto crumbs.

Heat some oil in a pan and add the breadcrumbs to it. Cook for five minutes or until the bread has turned golden brown. Add some garlic and pesto to it and cook for some more time. You can turn off the heat once the bread is golden and crisp. Set it aside.

Take a pan and boil some water in it. Into it, add the peas, beans, and asparagus. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes or until it is slightly tender. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Take the lamb out and serve it topped with the bread crumbs. Garnish it with lemon crumbs and beans for taste.

The minced chicken alone is good. But its taste doubles when combined with some eggs and other spices. There is more fulfilling than a chicken and egg combination. If you are looking for a single dish to serve this Sunday dinner night, this recipe could be it!

Begin by cooking minced chicken in a pan with oil and onions. Cook for 5 minutes, then add ras el hanout and saffron. Add chicken broth and cook for 15 minutes. Beat eggs and mix with pistachios, craisins, herbs, lemon zest, and orange zest. Transfer to a heat-proof bowl and cool.

Lightly brush 5 filo sheets with melted butter and stack them. Place a pastry stack in the bottom of the pan, enclosing the chicken mixture. Scrunch the corners and brush the top with butter and nigella seeds. Bake the pastia for one hour until golden. Set aside lemon juice and sliced onions. Serve with pickled onions and lemon mixture.

32. Chicken Banh Mi

I’m sure you must have different types of sandwiches. For many people, a sandwich is something one would have as a mid-day meal. But this Vietnamese sandwich, aka chicken banh mi, is so filling and tasty that it is perfect for dinner!

For making this recipe, we would need the standard crusty white baguette. Choose the one with a crusty outside and soft inside, not any fancy ones! Other than this, we would need some green chilies, onion, chicken, cucumber, and coriander leaves for filling.

So to make this recipe, split the baguette bun into two halves. Spread butter on both sides of the bread. Spread some chicken pate and mayonnaise. This serves as a base for the sandwich (make sure to use a lot of it).

Spread the cooked minced chicken on top of it and drizzle some Maggi sauce over it. Stuff in generous amounts of onion, green chilies, cucumbers, and pickled vegetables according to your liking.

Make sure to use green chilies as much as you want! Pickled vegetables and green chilies are the characteristic flavors of banh mi sandwiches. So use as much as you can! (if you can’t stand the chilies, you can always remove them later!).

Now that we have discussed so many recipes for the main course let’s think about a salad, a side dish you could serve with the main course! Sometimes I make this my main course too! So if you take it as a salad or a main course, make sure to try it!

The first step for making this salad is to roast them! Just place a pan on the stove with some olive oil. Add the sliced carrots to it. Add some salt and pepper and cook it until it’s soft and has turned slightly brown in color.

While it’s getting ready, mix some pomegranate juice, red wine, and some olive oil in a bowl. Add a very few thinly sliced mint leaves to it and add this mixture to the carrots. Do a taste test and add more seasoning if you want.

Remove the carrot from the pan, and in the same pan, toss some grains. Cook them until they are slightly crispy! Mix it with the cooked carrots. Take some pomegranate seeds and mix them with the carrots. Top it off with some feta cheese and mint leaves before serving it.

35. Pakistani Chicken Tikka Recipe

If your taste buds love flavorful dishes, you will thank me for introducing this Pakistani chicken tikka recipe to you. On the first bite, it’ll taste the flavor of different spices well mingled with the flavor of the chicken.

For making this recipe, always choose the thighs or breast part of the chicken and cut it into small square-shaped pieces. Marination is the key to its taste. So marinate the chicken pieces with some lemon juice and ginger garlic paste and keep it aside. Now take some yogurt, add chili powder and chaat masala to it, and blend it well.

Place the chicken pieces into the yogurt mix and mix it all together. Allow it to rest for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge for the best taste. Heat your charcoal barbeque well, skewer the chicken pieces, and leave some space between each piece.

This ensures that each piece is well-cooked. Place the skewer over the hot coal and cook it. While cooking, make sure to turn the skewer. This will ensure that the chicken is well-cooked on all sides.

If you love the smoky flavor, make sure to drop some butter on the chicken once in a while. You can have it as it is or serve it with parathas and mint chutneys for the best taste.

36. Creamy Fish Pie Recipe

Whenever I have to cook something delicious, I often resort to this recipe. All my family members love this recipe so much that it has become a custom at my house to cook this whenever there is a special occasion.

For making this recipe, you can choose cod, haddock, or salmon. Start this recipe by boiling some potatoes. Once done, mix some mashed potatoes with milk, butter, and seasoning.

Then take a pan and pour in some butter, add some flour along with some sliced onion. Give everything a good mix and stir for some time. Slowly add some milk to this. Make sure to whisk properly to avoid any kind of lumps. Cook until it is thickened.

Once done, take it off from the heat. Now we have to add the fish. Add the fish, some Dijon mustard, chives, and a handful of sweetcorns. Carefully add the mashed potatoes over this and sprinkle with some grated cheddar cheese.

Place it in the oven for nearly 20 minutes, and you are good to go! But if you want to have it sometime later, at this stage, you could place it in the fridge and cook it whenever you want.

37. Fish Fingers With Tartar Sauce Recipe

Crunchy and crispy outside and soft inside, with mild flavors, I’m not talking about chicken strips! Chicken strips are a regular food item. But if you want to cook something a little different for this Sunday night dinner, try this fish finger recipe.

Start by marinating the fish. Mix some panko, flour, lemon zest, and salt in a bowl for this. In another bowl, take some eggs. You can only take the white if you are not an egg yolk fan. Now clean the fish and cut it into strips.

Marinate the fish with some salt and pepper. Place the fish in the beaten egg and then in the flour mix. I like a really thick coating, so I do this coating process twice. You can adjust this step as you like.

Now in a frying pan, pour some oil. Once the oil is heated up, keenly place the fish fingers one after the other. Make sure not to place too much in one go! If you do, you will end up with uncooked fish sticks.

Cook both sides of the fish very well. Then place the fish in a kitchen towel. You can cook your fish strips in batches. Once it’s done, mix some mayonnaise, relish, and lime juice together and chill it for 10 minutes. Have it along with the fish fingers.

Nothing can be more satisfying than a bowl of hot noodles! If you are a college student, then like anybody else, you should have stacks of ramen noodles in your pantry! It’s our last resort when nothing else works.

If I had to eat only one appetizer from Asian cuisine, then it would be this Thai fish cake. I had been ordering it for my guests for a really long time until I came across this recipe. It’s extremely delicious and easy to cook, and it’s a great way to impress your friends and family on a Sunday dinner.

Like many other Asian recipes, you won’t need too many ingredients to cook this one. So for this recipe, add some fish, red curry paste, fish sauce (if you do not have fish sauce, use soy sauce), egg, lime, and some cilantro to a food processor.

Transfer it to a bowl and add some all-purpose flour to it. Just add enough flour to the mixture. We don’t want our fish cake to taste like flour cake at the end. Mix it well and do a taste test; if you feel like a little more salt, add a pinch!

Press small balls from the mix slightly to get a fish cake shape. Now add some oil to the pan and cook both sides very well. Once both sides are done, transfer it to a bowl with a paper towel. Your fish cake is all ready to serve.

Fish and chips are a classic British starter dish. If you have found yourself in London, you must have tried it at least once. You can buy it from anywhere if you want, but you know what is even better? Cook it at home!

So this Sunday, cook at home one of the most loved dishes of all time. Mix some flour with baking powder and cornstarch in a large bowl for this. You can season this mix with a little salt and pepper!

Add some beer and sparkling water to this flour. Use a fork to beat the mixture so that there are no clumps in the mix. Continue mixing until you have a smooth batter. Place this batter in the fridge to chill for an hour.

Now cut the potatoes into thick, wide chips. Soak it in water to remove the starch. Boil the potatoes for 3 or 4 minutes or until they are half-cooked. Once down, take it off the water and run cool water through the potatoes.

Fry the potatoes in the oil. Do not wait until the potatoes are brown. Take it out before that. Meanwhile, place the fish on a paper towel and dry it. On a small plate, mix some corn flour with salt and pepper.

Dip the fish in this flour, and then toss it into the flour mix we have prepared with beer and flour! Fry the fish in oil. Make sure to turn the sides from time to time. Cook for at least 8 minutes or until the outside batter gets brown.

Once it’s done, place it on a paper towel. Sprinkle some salt over the fish filets before serving. Serve it along with the chips and ketchup or mayonnaise!

In my childhood, I was really fascinated by this fish! Whatever way it was cooked, it tasted good. Even though I have come across many recipes over time, this salt and pepper squid has been my favorite for the longest time.

Clean the squid well for the prep and place it in a bowl. Marinate the squid in Shaoxing wine and sesame oil. Mix it well, and make sure that all pieces of squid are really covered.

Once the oil is heated, dip the marinated squid in a dry mixture and place it in the hot oil. Cook until the outer covering becomes golden brown. Once the squid is done, take it out and sprinkle a bit of white pepper and salt over it. Give everything a good toss.

When you finish frying your squid, heat some oil in the pan and add some grated ginger to it. When the ginger is well-cooked, add some crushed garlic. When the garlic becomes slightly brown, add some bell peppers.

Crush some tomatoes with your hand to get some juice out of them. To this, add the anchovy paste. Then mix this with some olive oil, garlic, chopped basil, and some pasta water. Add the cooked spaghetti to this sauce and serve with the grated cheese of your choice!

The first step towards cooking this recipe is to cook some onion, garlic, and fennel! Heat some oil in a pan and toss in all of these ingredients. Cook it until the onions become soft and translucent. Cook until it becomes soft and brown.

Add some wine to deglaze the pan. Simmer it for some time, and then add some chicken stocks and peeled potatoes to the mixture. Add some cream to this and remove it from the heat. Take out the prawn’s head and discard it.

Then pour this sauce into a blender and blend it well. Then sieve it to get a smooth and creamy consistency. Wrap it with a plastic sheet and refrigerate it. In a baking tray, arrange the pastry sheet with a 3 to 4 mm thickness. Lightly cut at least 4 pieces out of this and keep it in the baking tray.

Mix it well and divide it among the pie cuts. Press the edges of the pie with a fork and cut out excess pastry, if any! Heat some sunflower oil in a pan and fry some cappers. For this, mix some dill and lemon juice in olive oil.

Bring a new recipe to your dinner table with this stuffed lamb saddle recipe this Sunday! The taste of salsa de verde perfectly compliments the taste of the lamb. If you are cooking this dish, you wouldn’t need another meaty dish to earn you some compliments!

The first step is to make the fillings. For this, melt some butter in a pan and fry some onions. Stir some garlic and cook until it becomes crisp and brown. Remove it from the heat and add some breadcrumbs, whole grain mustard, goat cheese, and some egg yolks.

Set the oven to mark 6 at 200 °C (180 °C fan). Lay the lamb saddle fat-side down and with the filets running vertically on a board in front of you. The stuffing should be formed into a sausage and placed vertically down the middle.

Roll the lamb into a fat banger by raising the sides. To keep it in place, tie a length of kitchen string along it. Now place them in a skillet and fry them until they are brown. Roast for 50 minutes or more if you like your lamb meat soft.

Transfer it to a bowl and leave it to rest. Make some salsa verde. Slice the lamb into small pieces and serve it with some salsa de Verde.
