ToggleExpert Tips That I Recommend
- Add fresh herbs to enjoy a more vibrant flavor. But make sure they are clean and dry before you use them.
- Avoid rushing the infusion process, but let it take its time. Also, shake the bottle once to distribute the flavors evenly.
- Always strain through fine mesh so that it gets rid of all the minor pieces of herbs.
- You just need to gently crush the herbs to get their natural oils. Do not turn them into a fine powder, as it can make straining difficult.
- When the mixture is ready, add honey, as it blends in well.
Recipe Variation for Different Diets
- Gluten Free: Check if red wine and rum are gluten-free or not.
- Keto Version: Add dry red wine with no added sugar instead of regular red wine. You need to use plain unsweetened rum instead of regular rum; also replace honey with monk fruit sweetener.
