ToggleExpert Tips That I Recommend
- Do not overbeat the eggs, as overmixing can introduce excess air and cause a sunken cheesecake.
- Crush the cookies firmly and mix with melted butter. Make sure you press the crust firmly and evenly, especially around edges.
- Prepare ganache of thicker consistency. You can refrigerate it until it reaches a thick, spreadable consistency.
- Wrap a springform pan with 2-3 layers of heavy-duty foil, making sure there are no gaps.
Recipe Variations For Different Diets
- Gluten-Free:Â I swap the Oreo cookies for gluten-free sandwich cookies. I also use gluten-free snack cakes instead of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes.
- Keto-Friendly:Â To make it keto-friendly, I use a mix of almond flour, melted butter, and vanilla extract for the crust. I also use monk fruit sweetener along with sugar-free white chocolate for ganache. For the cake, I use keto-friendly pound cake cubes.
